Choctaw Kindred Spirits Fund
Inspired by the generosity of the Choctaw Nation during Ireland’s Great Famine, the Choctaw Kindred Spirits Fund is dedicated to advocating for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) Chahta and preserving the legacy of compassion between these two nations.
Indigenous women face disproportionately high rates of violence, with murder being the third leading cause of death. Oklahoma ranks second in the U.S. for missing Indigenous persons, highlighting the urgency of this crisis.

The Hercules Mulligan Textile & Artifact Preservation Grant
The Hercules Mulligan Textile & Artifact Preservation Grant supports the restoration, documentation, and preservation of Revolutionary-era textiles and espionage-related artifacts. Cato Howe Freedom & Legacy Grant
The Cato Howe Freedom & Legacy Grant honors the legacy of Cato Howe, an enslaved African American who fought for freedom in the American Revolutionary War. After serving in the Continental Army, Howe was manumitted and became a founding member of the Parting Ways community, a settlement of Black Revolutionary War veterans.
This grant is dedicated to assisting historians and genealogists in researching the lives and experiences of enslaved individuals and their descendants.
